Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to everyone who is celebrating! I do think we in America should celebrate all our American holidays -- Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanzaa, Eid, Diwali, and any others that I don't know about. Such multicultural and multireligious respect would foster unity and goodwill and decrease tribalism in our country.

This year, we're having a quiet Muslim Christmas because of the pandemic, but I can't resist making mince pies -- a by-product of living in England -- and gingerbread. Maybe the iced gingerbread, maybe the English kind. It's our way of celebrating with the rest of the country.

And to all of you, Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and warmest wishes for 2022.
